J. Hayes Worley, Jr.
Chairman
ChairmanJ. Hayes Worley, Jr. specializes in serving law firms, contractors, real estate and property management firms, technology firms, financial institutions, and providing commercial property programs to all types of clients. Mr. Worley is a nationally recognized leader in the insurance industry and prominent in civic and business circles in South Florida.
In the 1980s, Worley, a Coral Gables native, grew a family insurance business with seven employees into one of the top independently owned insurance firms in South Florida. In 1997, Worley, Humphrey & Ball subsequently merged with two other insurance firms (Pennekamp& Soto/Thomas & Cook) to form InSource, Inc.
Worley has earned designations as an Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). He graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and English. He has served as the National Chairman of the CNA Professional Agents Council. He previously served on the boards of directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dade County, South Florida Golf Foundation, St. Philips Episcopal School, Riviera Country Club, and is a Past President of The University Club. Worley currently serves on the boards of Habitat for Humanity and the Orange Bowl Committee.

Bill Parker
Vice Chairman
As Vice Chairman of InSource, Inc., Parker specializes in identifying, negotiating and servicing surety and insurance programs for all facets of the construction industry including project owners, contractors and suppliers. He also focuses on risk management programs for private schools and other educational facilities, manufacturers, and writing personal insurance for high net worth families. Parker has earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) industry designation.
Parker has 25 years experience in the industry. Prior to joining InSource in 2005, Parker worked with global insurance giant Aon. Aon recruited him in 1995 to establish their Construction Services Group in Florida, which he ultimately led until joining forces with InSource.
Parker began his career in 1986 with Fidelity & Deposit Company of Maryland (Zurich) where he held various positions in underwriting and branch management. He attended Southern Methodist University and Florida International University and holds a degree in Business Administration/Finance.
Parker is actively involved in the industries and communities. He serves on the board of directors of Associated Builders & Contractors' Florida East Coast Chapter, is past Chairman of their Legislative & PAC Committee, their Marketing & PR Committee, their Education Committee, and as Regional Trustee of their national board of the Free Enterprise Alliance. He is currently Chairman of their Events & Community Service Committee. He also serves on the board of directors for the Construction Financial Managers Association's South Florida Chapter and works on their Program Committee.
In Miami, Parker has served as Chair of the Building Committee of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, and is a member of their Steering Committee. He is an Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 336 in Coral Gables, actively coaches in the Temple Beth Am basketball league, and enjoys playing music in his band 40days.
Parker is a member of the following organizations: Associated Builders and Contractors, Association of General Contractors, Florida Surety Association, Construction Association of South Florida, Engineering Contractors Association, Florida Transportation Builders Association, Association of Independent Schools of Florida, and the Florida Council of Independent Schools.

Alex Soto
President/CEO
Anationally recognized leader in the insurance industry and prominent in civic and business circles in South Florida, Alex Soto is the president of InSource, Inc. In addition, he specializes in serving the insurance needs of law firms and other professional organizations.
In 2006, Soto assumed the presidency of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA), the largest national organization serving the country's independent agents and brokers. The IIABA is highly influential in Washington, D.C. in terms of shaping policy on major insurance issues. In his capacity as president of IIABA Soto has testified before Congress numerous times on insurance matters.
Prior to becoming a partner in InSource, Inc., Soto was president of Pennekamp& Soto, which merged with two other insurance firms in 1997 to form InSource
A native of Havana, Cuba, Soto has a long family history on the island, including a grandfather and great-grandfather who served as Cuba's president. Soto came to Miami in 1960, and earned a bachelor's degree in international affairs from FloridaStateUniversity in 1971. He attained his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1977, and in 1993, he earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
Soto served as president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dade County in 1980, and as chairman of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents in 1994-95. He was vice chairman of the Florida Property Casualty Joint Underwriting Association (FPCJUA) in 1995-96, as well as serving as a member of the Governor's Commission on the Florida Insurance Crisis in 1993, and on the Insurance Fraud Task Force in 1997.
Active in the community, Soto serves as a director of Miami Children's Hospital and a trustee of the Archdiocese of Miami Trust. He has served on many civic and business boards and taught numerous insurance courses with the FAIA and at the University of Miami.

Charles C. "Chris" Ball
Secretary-Treasurer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer - InSource, Inc.
Chris marshals the day-to-day operations and financial performance of InSource, Inc. His insurance clients include manufacturers, wholesalers, and commercial property programs.
A Miami native, Chris began his insurance career in 1973 at Great Southern Underwriters, Inc. He became president of Great Southern in 1981 upon the retirement of his father, Rod C. Ball. In 1987, Great Southern merged with two agencies to form Worley, Humphrey & Ball, Inc., the predecessor firm to InSource.
Chris is a 1974 graduate of the University of Miami with a Finance degree from the Business School.
In 1982, Chris earned his Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) designation.
Chris served as president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dade County (now South Florida) in 1986-87. Under his leadership, the association received the Walter Bennett Award recognizing it as the outstanding local insurance association in the country. Chris has served on various committees of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents (FAIA), the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA), and several insurance company agent councils. He has also served on the board of ACORD, the insurance industry's standards setting organization.
Chris has been a volunteer with the Hurricane Club, helping to raise funds for athletic scholarships at the University of Miami and serves on UM's Sports Hall of Fame board, and the board of the South Florida Touchdown Club Foundation. A Sigma Chi, Chris is a past president of its local alumni group, and of the Coconut Grove Jaycees.
Chris is a steward of St. Louis Catholic Church and active with the American Cancer Society's Pinecrest Relay-4-Life event.
Chris is married to the former Cheri Coolidge, and they are the proud parents of Michelle, Hardy & Laurel, and grandparents to Megan and Ryan.

Phillip C. Lyons
Senior Vice President
Vice President Phillip Lyons focuses on real estate commercial property programs, manufacturers, condominiums, and workers compensation. Mr. Lyons also specializes in custom tailored homeowner and auto insurance programs for high net worth individuals.
Lyons was a partner in Worley, Humphrey & Ball, a predecessor firm to InSource, Inc. He earned his Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations and has completed personal and business life insurance courses provided by the Life Underwriting Training Council. A native of West Palm Beach, Lyons served in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1980. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Florida International University and an Associate's Degree from Miami-Dade College.
Lyons is a member of the Legislative Council for the Florida Association of Insurance Agents (FAIA), and is President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dade County, as well as a member of the Miami Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He has served as President of the South Dade Association of Life Underwriters and South Miami-Kendall Jaycees. Lyons is currently serving as chairman of Chamber South Military Affairs Committee, and also served as Chairman of Chamber South.

William F. Kleis
Senior Vice President
Mr. Kleis is one of the founding principals of InSource, Inc. He specializes in identifying, negotiating, and implementing insurance and surety programs for contractors and suppliers to the construction industry, as well as hospitals, medical centers, testing laboratories, and rehabilitation facilities.
Kleis, a Miami native with over thirty years of risk management experience, was owner of Thomas & Cook Insurance, a predecessor firm to InSource. Kleis earned the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation from the International Risk Management Institute, and the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation from the Insurance Institute of America. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Kleis' high standing within the insurance industry led to his presidency of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dade County where he led the organization to win the Walter Bennett Award as the outstanding local insurance association in the nation. He has served on various committees of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents (FAIA) and the Florida Windstorm Underwriting Association, the predecessor to Citizen's Property & Casualty.
He is actively involved as a member and an instructor with the Mechanical Contractors Association of South Florida and is a member of the Engineering Contractors Association. Kleis is a long time member of Plymouth Congregational Church where he has served in various capacities and at every opportunity has given his time as a baseball and softball coach.

Charles H. Vodicka
Partner/Senior Vice President
Charles Vodicka specializes in asset protection for high net worth individuals and professionals, as well as their businesses, using coverages offered through property, casualty, life and health insurance. He also specializes in group benefits, including innovative ways for claims management, marketing and wellness programs.
He also specializes in risk management for 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporations. He has spoken before child advocacy groups about managing risk.
In the 1980s, Vodicka ran his own insurance firm which sold all lines of insurance and group benefits. Before that, he worked for John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company selling insurance products, including life, disability, property and casualty, and employee benefits. Vodicka is certified as an accredited Investment Fiduciary. He maintains all necessary licenses for his work in life and health insurance, as well as property and casualty insurance. In addition, he holds a B.A. degree from Concordia Lutheran College in Indiana and a Master of Divinity degree from Missouri-based Concordia Seminary.
Currently, Vodicka is a founding member and serves on the board of Kristi House and is a board member of Friends of WLRN. He also is a past member of the founding Board of Directors and now serves on the advisory board of the Haitian Neighborhood Center/Sant La. He is a past board member of Miami Light Project and Performing Arts for Community and Education.

Davor Mimica
Senior Vice President
Davor Mimica specializes in identifying, negotiating and servicing surety and insurance programs for all types and sizes of local and national contractors as well as developers.
Prior to joining InSource in 2006, Mimica enjoyed a successful six-year tenure as a producer in the Construction Services Group of Aon, a large global insurance broker. He started his career in 1994 with Seitlin & Company where he worked in the surety department as a trainee. Prior to that, Mimica studied political science at Miami Dade College.
From 2003-2004, Mimica served as a member of the legislative committee of Associated General Contractors' Florida South Coast Chapter. In addition to the AGC, he is a member of the Florida Surety Association, National Association of Surety Bond Producers, Construction Association of South Florida and Engineering Contractors Association.
